Michael Kinane rode the colt to victory in the Michael Seely Glasgow Stakes at York last month but may be claimed to ride Zagreb for Dermot Weld next Sunday.
"We have asked Mick Kinane to ride him but nothing has been confirmed yet," Stoute said. "We have not given any thought to an alternative."
Ladbrokes yesterday revealed their faith in the English Derby form in chalking up their opening prices for the Curragh. They have installed Shaamit as 6-4 favourite to confirm his superiority, with Dushyantor and Dr Massini joint second choices at 3-1. Alhaarth is next at 7-1.
Ian Wassell of Ladbrokes said: "It should be a cracking race and hopefully it will prove whether Dushyantor was unlucky in the Derby or not."
MWHAEL KINANE topped up a lucrative week's work at Royal Ascot when celebrating his 37th birthday with two more winners at Naas on Saturday.
After taking his third successive top jockey award at Ascot, Kinane proved an able substitute for Christy Roche, who could not manage the weight on debutante Priorite in the Owenstown Stud FF Tuthill EBF Race and proceeded to make all the running on the well-backed favourite.
Home bred by Mrs Chrys O'Reilly, successful with Verglas in the Coventry Stakes during the week, Priorite was backed from all rates down to 5 to and never looked in danger of defeat.
"She has been working well and Christy Roche thought she would win first time up. But he couldn't do the weight and Mick Kinane proved a very capable deputy on his first ride for me," enthused winning trainer James Burns.
Another above-average juvenile to score at the meeting was the Jim Bolger-trained Mynador, who overcame a wide draw in the Oak Lodge Stud Fillies' Maiden in the hands of Kevin Manning.
