ROYAL AFFINITY (Aidan O'Brien) and Act Of Defiance (Dermot Weld) were the two Irish acceptors for the French 2,000 Guineas at Longchamp on Sunday following yesterday's acceptance stage.
Weld has also left in Absolute Glee, Desert Ease and Token Gesture in the French 1,000 Guineas. O'Brien's Family Tradition is still in the Prix Lupin.
No fewer than seven colts from British stables were declared for the colt's classic, the Poule d'Essai des Poulains. And there are 10 British-trained fillies left in the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches, for which there are 19 acceptors.
Among the acceptors for the Poulains is Greenham Stakes winner Yalaietanee, who will bid to follow-up Entrepreneur's victory in the Pertemps 2,000 Guineas for Michael Stoute.
Clive Brittain and Richard Hannon are aiming at the colts' classic with Fantastic Fellow and Deadly Dudley respectively.
Putra could make a quick reappearance for Paul Cole after finishing 15th behind Entrepreneur last Saturday.
Godolphin's Vettori, successful in 1995, is the only British-based colt to lift the Poulains in the last 15 years but fillies from Britain will be aiming at a third triumph in five years in the Pouliches.
Both Classics will be shown on BBC2's Sunday Grandstand programme, along with the Prix Lupin a leading trial for the Prix du Jockey-Club (French Derby).
