Aidan O'Brien's French Derby hopeful, Saratoga Springs, was among 20 acceptors for the French classic on Sunday following yesterday's forfeit stage.

O'Brien also left in the 2,000 Guineas hero King Of Kings, Chateau Royal and Desert Fox in the mile-and-a-half Chantilly showpiece.

King Of Kings is expected to head for the Epsom Derby on Saturday week, and his continuing presence in the Jockey Club is believed to be for precautionary reasons.

Dermot Weld, however, has made a total withdrawal, having pulled out Make No Mistake, Two Twenty Two, Guapo and Titus. The three British-based withdrawals involved Gulland, Courteous and City Honours. All three are Derby bound on Saturday week.
