TERENURE COLLEGE maintained the only 100% record in the Kitty O Shea's Leinster Championship when they easily found the measure of Section One opponents UCD at Lakelands Park. Two's fries from prolific finisher Peter Walsh were decorated with four, conversions and three penalties - in a flawless personal contribution which returned 27 points.
In Section Two, leaders Clontarf squeezed out a workmanlike and crucial win over DLSP at Kilternan. This rugged affair turned nasty early in the second half when Clontarfs second row Colm Power was sent off for stamping. Despite this, or possibly because of it, Clontarf refocused their efforts and tries from Shane Guerin and Pat Ward were just reward for resoluteness under pressure.
Elsewhere, Blackrock College remained in pursuit of Terenure with a convincing away win at Greystones. St Mary's College showed further proof of their progress at Sydney Parade and Old Wesley secured their second success of the campaign against Suttonians.
Behind Clontarf, Lansdowne put Bective Rangers in their place, with number eight, Stephen O'Connor, grabbing four of their seven tries. Wanderers fended off the considerable challenge of Skerries at headquarters.
