SCHOOLS RUGBY/Leinster and Munster Cups/Terenure College 24 Presentation Bray 15: After a dull opening period, this Leinster Schools Junior Cup game sprang to life in the second half, with Terenure surviving a scare from the Wicklow side.

Terenure started brightly and were rewarded when outhalf Terry Jones slotted a penalty in the fifth minute to make it 3-0.

From then on it was all Bray, but they had to wait until first-half injury-time for any return when Seán Prendergast levelled matters from a penalty.

Bray continued to dominate at the start of the second half and Neal Cooper claimed the first try of the game.

However, Terenure responded immediately and Terry Jones finished off a good move and converted magnificently to put Terenure 10-8 ahead.

Jones was now running the show and it was no surprise when Karl Flanagan added another try to put Terenure 17-8 ahead.

Bray responded with a magnificent solo try from David Nutty who ran three-quarters of the field, but Terenure had the final say when Ross Williamson touched down in injury-time.
