MOUNT Temple staged a tremendous fightback at Kilgobbin yesterday to score a victory over Presentation, Glasthule.
Presentation took an early lead with a try by Dave Kelly, who crashed over from a penalty after five minutes. Colin Crangle converted.
Mount Temple responded with a penalty by Mark Adams, but another kick by Crangle made the score 10-3 in GIasthule's favour at half-time.
However, Mount Temple asserted themselves in the second half and, with five minutes remaining, were rewarded with a try when winger Paddy Delaney followed up a kick ahead. Adams equalised with the tricky conversion and landed a 30-yard drop goal to put his side ahead for the first time just on the final whistle.
