Christophe Lamaison has replaced injured Thomas Castaignede at fly-half in France's team named yesterday for their Pool C match against Namibia tomorrow.
Emile Ntamack and Phillipe Bernat-Salles will play on the wings rather than Xavier Garbajosa and Christophe Dominici, with Thomas Lievremont taking over from Christophe Juillet in the back row and Olivier Brouzet returning at lock to replace Abdelatif Benazzi.
Canada out-half Gareth Rees, the only player to take part in each of the four World Cups, is set to start Saturday's Pool C match against Fiji in Bordeaux despite injuring an ankle against France last week.
Rees was named in the Canadian line-up yesterday although team spokesman Ian Kennedy had said earlier that the 32-year-old was undergoing physiotherapy daily and was in serious doubt for the remainder of the World Cup. Rees has suffered with a number of recurring injuries to his right leg.
Uruguay have named an unchanged side for their clash with Scotland at Murrayfield tomorrow. The South American qualifiers recorded a 27-15 victory over Spain in their opening match at Gala last Saturday.
