Cork have recalled Steven O'Brien and Colin Corkery to championship action for the clash with Limerick in Kilmallock this Saturday. The Nemo pair haven't made championship appearances for three years because of a combination of disaffection and lack of fitness.
Corkery reappeared in the county's last National League match against Dublin and looked considerably out-of-shape but has presumably progressed on that front.
A further strengthening of the forward unit is the return from lengthy injury of Aidan Dorgan who takes his place at left half forward. O'Brien and Corkery line out at full forward and left corner forward, respectively. The three replace Micheal O Croinin and Podsie O'Mahony who are on the bench and Mark O'Sullivan who has retired.
Other changes from the defeated All-Ireland final team are championship debutante Donagh Wiseman and Micheal O'Donovan who was most unlucky to miss last year's championship run because of injury. They come in for the injured pair, Ronan McCar- thy and Anthony Lynch.
