Martin Conway makes his championship debut for Tyrone at the age of 28. Conway plays in goal due to a knee injury which keeps the experienced Finbar McConnell out of the side. He is one of two championship debutants, with under-21 star Michael McGee getting his first championship start, at right full back. It is also confirmed that Peter Canavan will play. He passed a fitness test on an injured knee last night and has been named at full forward. His brother, Pascal, captains the team. A vacancy has been listed at left wing forward with a number of the county's successful under-21s in contention. Stephen O'Neill, Damien Gormley and Kevin Hughes will be considered. Brian McGuigan - son of Frank and a star of the under-21 success - may also be considered.
