Down SF
Down introduce three debutants for Sunday's trip to Casement Park. Into the team to play Antrim in the Ulster first round come Paul Shiels at centre back and at centre forward and left wing forward, Michael Walsh and Liam Doyle, both of whom played for last year's All-Ireland winning minors.
Another of that team, Brendan Coulter who captains this year's minors in the first match on Sunday, is named on the bench for the senior team. Veteran corner forward Mickey Linden came through a fitness test on his injured ankle and another big injury worry, Ciaran Byrne, also satisfied Peter McGrath and selectors of his fitness.
The side will be captained by Paul Higgins, one of only two survivors from the team which won the All-Ireland in 1991. Another, James McCartan, is named among the substitutes but is expected to make an appearance at some stage of the match.

Sligo SF
Sligo's injury crisis worsened this week with full forward Ken Killeen the latest casualty. The Tubbercurry clubman aggravated an old hamstring injury in a challenge against Laois last weekend and now faces a race against time to be fit for Sligo's Connacht senior football championship game against Mayo at Markievicz Park in two weeks time.
Tommy Brennan will miss the June 11th clash and there are serious doubts about fullback Nigel Clancy who is nursing his shoulder injury. Also on the injured list are Brendan Phillips, Noel Maguire, Con O'Mara, and Patrick Naughton. Manager, Mickey Moran's championship operations are not being helped by the team's poor performances in challenge games, the latest of which resulted in an 11-point hammering by Laois at Markievicz Park.
