Meath SF

An injury crisis which affects, among others, Mark O'Reilly, Cormac Murphy, Hank Traynor and Paddy Reynolds has delayed selection of the team. In addition, Tommy Dowd's return has been delayed after he picked up an ankle injury. There are also fitness concerns for Enda McManus and Barry Callaghan. The team will be announced prior to throw-in in Clones on Saturday.

Andy Moloney has been ruled out of the Tipperary hurling team for the opening round of the championship against Waterford on Sunday week. Moloney sustained a serious eye injury in the league semi-final against Limerick but had hoped to be fit to face Waterford. However, a visit to a specialist this week indicated that the damaged retina may require laser treatment or surgery.
