Val Andrews and his selectors have named the side that lost to Offaly in the National League Division Two semi-final last month for Sunday's Ulster football championship first-round tie against Derry at Breffni Park. There will be a championship debut at corner back for Conor McCarey of Kill and the team also shows five changes from that which lost to Derry in the Ulster first-round replay last year.

Brendan McCormack is in goal, McCarey, Terry Farrelly (full back) and Cathal Collins (half back) come into the defence while Fintan Cahill leads the attack.

Longford SF

Last week's loss to Wexford has forced manager Michael McCormack to make some sweeping changes for the Leinster clash with Wicklow on Sunday. In come Brendan Burke, Paul Ross, Sean Hagan and Padraig Brady - at the expense of Shane Carroll, Aidan Kehoe, Padraig Jones and Padraig Shanley.

Defender Burke and wing forward Brady will make their championship debuts while Ross and Hagan appeared last week as substitutes for Donal Ledwith and Jones.

In an interesting move, Paul Barden is named at midfield alongside Liam Keenan. And in the attack, Niall Sheridan moves into the corner and Padraig Davis will start at full forward.

Wicklow SF

Manager Moses Coffey has kept faith with the team that defeated Carlow last Sunday for the game against Longford.

The one subsitution in Aughrim last Sunday saw wing forward Kevin O'Brien replaced by John O'Keeffe just before the end but O'Brien will keep his starting place.

Wexford SF

Jim Darcy is back in the Wexford team to face Carlow for the second game of the Leinster football championship round-robin series. Darcy was the original selection for the midfield berth for last Sunday's game with Longford but was injured before the game. Mattie Forde was an indirect swap and started at corner forward but was subsequently sent off and will miss the game.

Clare SF

Two players make their championship debuts on the Clare team to face Waterford in the opening round of the Munster football championship in Ennis on Sunday. Ronan Slattery will start at left half back while David Russell will partner Donal O'Sullivan at midfield.

O'Sullivan comes back into the side after missing the last championship outing - a heavy defeat by Kerry. Other changes from that side include Ger Quinlan at full forward and Ger Keane in the corner.

Dublin SH

Dublin manager Michael O'Grady has delayed naming his team to face Westmeath in the second game of the Leinster hurling championship roundrobin phase. After last weekend's close call with Carlow O'Grady is expected to make some adjustments when the side is announced after training this evening.

Derry SF

Derry are this evening expected to announce the team to face Cavan in the first round of the Ulster championship.
