SCHOOLS RUGBY: Sligo Grammar School 67 St Joseph's, Galway 0SLIGO GRAMMAR went on an 11-try scoring spree to book their place in the semi-finals of the Connacht Schools' Senior Cup yesterday.

St Joseph’s had no answer in Newcastle, Galway city, as 10 different players crossed for Sligo Grammar.

Two tries in the opening five minutes killed the game as a contest as Paddy Hazelton and Scott Oates crossed.

Further tries from Tadhg Power, replacement David Heath, Gary McConnell, out-half Pat Hughes and Aaron Spring left the Sligo side 39-0 to the good at the break.

Sligo Grammar did not relent after the restart as Chris Nairn, Hazelton, Oscar Van Der Grijn and replacement Peter Laffey all got over for tries.
