CORK SFC SEMI-FINAL St Finbarr's 1-11 Carbery Rangers 0-8:GREAT city rivals St Finbarr's and Nemo Rangers will meet in a Cork county senior football championship final for the first time in 17 years on Sunday after St Finbarr's finished strongly to deny Carbery Rangers at Páirc Uí Rinn on Saturday night.
They led by 1-3 to 0-4 at half-time, following Cathal McCarthy’s well-taken seventh-minute goal and while the Rosscarbery side drew level at 1-4 to 0-7 after 40 minutes, the ’Barr’s pulled away with Jason Sexton’s free-taking an important element in their victory.
