THIS DR Harty Cup clash at Meelick on Saturday ended in a draw when St Caimin’s John Guilfoyle snatched the equalising point in injury-time.
The Clare school were 1-2 to 0-0 ahead by the third minute, with Alan Mulready providing the goal, but their Limerick-based opponents rallied and lead by 1-8 to 1-5 at the break, Brendan O’Connor grabbing their goal on 25 minutes.
But Caimin’s came from behind thanks to the accuracy of free-taker Pa Sheehan and, in a tense finish, Guilfoyle’s vital point in added time sent the tie to a replay.
