Somayda can continue John Dunlop's fine start to the season by winning the £30,000-added Coral Rosebery Stakes at Kempton Park today. Dunlop, who saddled Right Wing to win the Lincoln, fired in three winners on Saturday, so Somayda can be expected to be fighting fit for this competitive "showcase" handicap. And the four-year-old looks just the sort to prove a step ahead of the handicapper.

Impeccably bred - by top-class sprinter/miler Last Tycoon out of Coronation Stakes winner Flame of Tara - Somayda easily saw off a modest bunch on his racecourse debut at Redcar last June.

He progressed from there and impressed when beating Lonesome Dude by two lengths in a valuable Goodwood Handicap in September.

His final run, when a rather disappointing favourite in a conditions race run on very testing ground at Leicester, can be ignored.

Somayda has the scope to make significant strides this year and it can turn out to be a blot on the handicap here. He gets the nap vote out of the 1,102 horses declared to run in Britain today.

To The Roof looks capable of winning the Quail Conditions Stakes. The sprinter from the Peter Harris stable should be in peak condition to take this six-furlong dash after an eye-catching warm-up run at Doncaster.

The seven-year-old was noted making significant late progress in a competitive heat over the minimum trip until he was checked in his run at a vital stage.

However, he was still less than two lengths behind the winner, Night Shot, at the line and can be expected to run a big race.

Royal Amaretto can win his first race for two seasons by grabbing the Magnolia Stakes. His best effort last season came over this 10 furlongs in July when he was third, beaten a total of two lengths, by Happy Valentine and Fruits Of Love.
