Sligo 0-20 Roscommon 0-13:SLIGO SECURED secured promotion and their place in the Division Three final following a comfortable victory over the already-relegated Roscommon at Markievicz Park.
David Kelly and Mark Breheny were to the fore as the home side established a 0-10 to 0-7 interval lead, although Roscommon battled doggedly during the opening period.
Breheny’s fifth point of the first period put Sligo 0-10 to 0-5 up two minutes before the interval but a flurry from John Rogers and Darragh Hussey meant Roscommon trailed by just three at the break.
Rogers proved Roscommon’s main scoring threat, contributing eight points, including four second-half frees.
