Sligo Rovers secured their Premier Division status with a comfortable 2-0 win over Derry City at the Showgrounds yesterday.
Two goals by Marcus Hallows, who brought his tally to 11 for the season, were sufficient to overcome Derry.
After 15 minutes Hallowes made the most of a poor clearance by Derry keeper, David Platt, to slide the ball home.
Then a minute into the second half Hallows reacted sharply to lob the advancing keeper for the second.
