NFL DIVISION THREE Sligo 3-15 Fermanagh 1-11:SLIGO SWEPT aside an inept Fermanagh at Brewster Park to put the Connacht side in the frame for promotion and Fermanagh facing relegation.

Sligo raced to a 1-7 to 0-1 lead, the goal coming when David Kelly fist passed to corner back Charlie Harrison who hammered the ball to the net.

After the break Fermanagh rallied. Points from Rory Gallagher and Daryl Keenan was followed by a foul on Keenan that resulted in a penalty. Tommy McElroy made no mistake with the kick and suddenly there was only three between the teams. Sligo quashed notions of a comeback, Colm McGhee punching the ball to the net.

Martin Breheny added points before Alan Costello rounded off the day with a goal.
