MARTIN PIPE'S attack on his target of 2,000 jumps winners continues at Uttoxeter and Hereford today. He needs just two more victories to reach the landmark and that figure could be halved by the second event at Uttoxeter's afternoon meeting in which he saddles strong favourite Lemon's Mill.

If Lemon's Mill fails to gain his expected victory in the Treat Bathrooms Centenary Novices' Chase, Pipe has another five attempts.

Tonys Gift heads the weights in the following Sutton Estates Celebration Novices' Handicap Hurdle and Elite Reg contests the Trent Bathroom's Handicap Hurdle.

The bandwagon then rolls on to the evening meeting at Hereford where the Pipe trio is headed by Political Panto in the opening Vowchurch Novices' Hurdle.

Sea Patrol represents the champion trainer in the Edwardian Selling Handicap Stakes and is followed by Robert's Toy in the Eaton Bishop Novices' Chase.

Stable jockey David Bridgwater has the mount on all six runners.
