Skerries qualified for their second final in as many days, again at the expense of St Columba's, following a hard-earned victory at Templeogue College yesterday.
Given the extremely testing conditions, this was a very competitive affair which was decided in the second half.
Skerries, playing against the wind, led at half-time courtesy of a 20th minute try from number eight David Lee.
St Columba's Michael Quinn kicked a penalty before the interval to leave just two points between the sides but thereafter they were chasing the game. Skerries dominated the second half and despite sterling defence from Columba's, Paul Sherlock and Conor Shiels added a try each.
