THE SHAMROCKS squad that takes the place of the English under 21s in next weekend's Sharwoods sponsored senior international hockey tournament in Belfield has been named by coach Noel Keogh.
Former Irish international Teresa Hurley captains the squad, which features several of the players who narrowly missed out on selection for Zimbabwe. Two places in the squad have still to be filled.
Goalkeepers Tara Browne and Sharon Hutchinson will play one match each at the weekend and will then learn who has been selected for the final spot in the squad for August's World Cup qualifying tournament in Zimbabwe.
