It has been reported that French customs officers seized some unspecified products last week from a team car belonging to the Chinese World Junior Athletics team.
The seizure, which was revealed in yesterday's Dauphine Libere newspaper, took place on the French-Swiss border and the products were sent to a local laboratory where they are currently being analysed.
The event organisers said there had been no problems and all 48 Chinese athletes had turned up and several performed in their heats yesterday, including 400 metres hurdler Yu Lian Li who set the fastest time.
