Bohemians 5 Drumkeen Utd 0:DAVID Scully was the hero for Bohemians with a hat-trick as they brushed aside the challenge of Ulster Senior League side Drumkeen United at Dalymount Park.

Roberto Lopes and Dave Mulcahy netted the other goals, whilst Drumkeen finished with 10 men after sub James Ratiff was sent off for two bookable offences.

Bohemians were ahead within 55 seconds of the start when Scully met Derek Pender’s ball to fire past Drumkeen goalkeeper Paul McAuley.

The second goal came on 24 minutes from a neat finish from Lopes into the bottom left corner, after Drumkeen failed to clear Peter McMahon’s ball in.

Scully headed in his second on 66 minutes and completed his hat-trick with a close-range shot on 77.

Ratiff was sent off after receiving his second yellow on 78 minutes. Mulcahy’s solo effort and shot to the roof of the net rounded off the scoring on 86 minutes.
