Craig Brown looks certain to shuffle his pack this week after scrambling a 3-2 victory against Estonia on Saturday. Scotland's next step along the road to Euro 2000 comes on Wednesday when the Faroe Islands visit Aberdeen, but Brown will be without Blackburn striker Kevin Gallacher, who broke his left arm on Saturday.
While Scotland manager Brown could be forced to make changes, he also knows he needs to freshen up the defence and goalkeeper Jim Leighton and Colin Calderwood could find themselves casualties.
Estonia opened the scoring through Sergei Hohlov-Simson in the first half on Saturday, but the arrival of Billy Dodds in the 69th minute changed the face of the game.
Dodds grabbed the equaliser a minute later only for Estonia to regain the lead through 18-year-old Maksim Smirnov. An own goal by Hohlov-Simson, under pressure from Dodds, levelled the tie before Dodds sewed things up five minutes from time.
