THE 19th annual edition of the Irish Greyhound Review was launched in Dublin last night by Jimmy Deenihan T.D., Minister for State at the Department of Agriculture.

The Personality of the Year Award went to the new young Rathangan trainer Dolores Ruth, who sent out Shanless Slippy to win the Produce Stakes at Clonmel and then the English Derby at Wimbledon. In a very close ballot she had only one vote to spare over Seamus Graham, trainer of the Irish Derby winner Tina Marina.
