Colaiste Eoin proved much too strong for local side St Michael's in this lopsided Leinster Colleges Senior Football A quarter-final at Trim yesterday. The boys from Stillorgan, Dublin, had the edge over their opponents in height and strength and were five points to the good at the end of the opening quarter. Oisin O hAnnaidh and Conchur O Beagain gave them a decisive midfield advantage and full forward Diarmuid O hUallaigh proved difficult to hold.
Twelve of the Colaiste Eoin scores came from play, with nine members of the team on target, and it was 0-7 to 0-0 at the break.
