Ken Lemasney added a conversion to round off the scoring.
Meanwhile, tries from Greg O'Sullivan and Rory Browne set Midleton on their way to a 16-14 win over St Nessan's from Limerick. Midleton led at the break 8-6 thanks to a try from Greg O'Sullivan and a penalty from Jeff Hitchmore.
The same player added a second penalty in the second half before Browne sealed victory in the closing minutes with a well worked try.
Elsewhere Bandon Grammar School and Abbey School, Tipperary finished all square at six points each. A penalty from Trevor West gave Bandon a 3-0 lead at the break. West added another in the second half only to see Abbey's Ian Hanley drop two goals to ensure a replay next week.
