Section A finalists Mount Temple found Cistercian Roscrea much too strong yesterday.

Roscrea lost full back Eoin Kealy with a leg injury early in the second half but they still progressed to a comfortable win.

Roscrea started the second half with a 17-0 advantage and Declan Cordial, who replaced Kealy and whose running put Mount Temple under greater pressure, crossed the line the 36th minute.

Cordial secured a second try with eight minutes of normal time remaining and there was enough time left for tries from Darren Mullane and Ivor Collins.
