Another record-breaking performance from world champion Jan Zelezny spoiled any hopes Britain's Steve Backley had of winning a javelin gold medal. Boxing: Frank Warren yesterday brought the grudge clash between WBU light welterweight champion Ricky Hatton and Belfast's Eamonn Magee a step closer by signing up Magee in a lucrative deal. Warren has agreed a contract with Commonwealth champion Magee's manager Mike Callahan and the Sports Network boss said: "It's a deal that can make Eamonn a millionaire and it means we can build towards a fight with Ricky Hatton next year."
