MUNSTER SENIOR CUP: Rockwell College 33 St Munchin's College 13:ROCKWELL, BEATEN finalists for the past two years, disposed of St Munchin's when scoring five tries at Clanwilliam.
It was close in the first half at the end of which Rockwell led 14-10. Luke Cahill put them on their way with the first try which Brian Haugh converted after 12 minutes. The lead did not last long as Paul Curtiss got in for a St Munchin’s try three minutes later.
Rockwell held a slight advantage which was emphasised when Cian O’Donnell had a try which Haugh converted.
Just on half-time Dan Goggin kept the hopes of the Limerick side alive with a try but that was as good as it got.
Rockwell dominated the second half with tries by Dan McGillicuddy, Aidan O’Sullivan and Cahill again. Haugh converted two of them to ensure Rockwell will be strong contenders again this season.
