MUNSTER SCHOOLS' SENIOR CUP Rockwell 8 Ardscoil Rís 3:FAVOURITES ROCKWELL were pushed all the way by a gallant Ardscoil Rís side at Clanwilliam Park yesterday before booking their place in the last four of the Munster Schools' Senior Cup.
Ardscoil Rís got off to a great start with a penalty from outhalf Rory Collins for a 3-0 lead after three minutes. Collins was off target with a similar effort minutes later.
Rockwell came more into the game after this but penalty misses on 17, 19 and 33 minutes left the Limerick school 3-0 ahead at half-time.
Three minutes into the second half scrumhalf Brian Haugh levelled the scores with a penalty for Rockwell and six minutes from time to the delight of the large following from the Tipperary school he got in for a try to clinch victory.
