Studio Thirty can confound his modest form figures by winning the Cloves Conditional Jockeys' Novice Handicap Hurdle at Hereford today.
Robin Dickin's five-year-old has not set the world alight but could have been let in on a handy mark.
He has been handicapped on the basis of some inconclusive efforts last season when in the care of Craig Smith. The grey ran poorly in the main but did appear to perform encouragingly at Cheltenham before falling three from home in a race won by Herbert Lodge.
And Studio Thirty has shown ability on the Flat, winning a couple of all-weather middle distance handicaps.
Indeed, his most recent runs were for Dickin on the Flat back in February, including when runnerup to Northern Motto at Wolverhampton, and Studio Thirty should be a decent each-way price against modest opposition.
