One man who will have been beaming with satisfaction at the rain on the Curragh in recent days is local trainer Kevin Prendergast who runs Rebelline in today's Hunston Pretty Polly Stakes.

Rebelline showed in a sparkling seasonal debut at Leopardstown that a dig in the going suits her ideally and the lack of such a surface cost her a subsequent tilt at the French 1,000 Guineas.

The Prendergast filly did get her Classic chance in the Irish Guineas but she came into season at the wrong time and in the circumstances did well to run fifth to Imagine.

Prendergast has a fine record in the Group Two contest, having won it three times, but Rebelline will have to be at her best to cope with the Musidora third Heavenly Whisper and a strong challenge from Ballydoyle.

Michael Kinane is on the Ribblesdale fourth Snowflake who should benefit from the drop in trip but the double Guineas placed Toroca was yesterday reported to be "not a definite runner" by Aidan O'Brien.

The other Group race on the card is the Curragh Cup which sees Quality Team making his first start since landing the race last year.
