Bayern Munich v Real Madrid
Semi-final, second leg
Kick off: 7.45. On TV: Network 2.
First leg: Real Madrid 2, Bayern Munich 0.
Real Madrid, the conquerors of Manchester United, will go for the jugular in search of a decisive away goal in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich tonight.
The Spanish giants, 2-0 up after the first leg at the Bernabeu, will not be resting on their laurels and will field Raul, Nicolas Anelka and Fernando Morientes in their starting line-up.
"We've got to try to attack and score a goal," said the Real midfielder Ivan Helguera. "We've got to play as well as we did against Manchester United. It's vital that we win this tie."
Saturday's 1-0 defeat at home to Alaves left Real six points off the top of the Primera Liga and in sixth place in the table.
With only two league games to play, the pressure is increasing on manager Vicente del Bosque to bring tangible success to the Spanish capital and reclaim the European Cup, which Real won in 1998.
But the Bayern Munich president Franz Beckenbauer believes his side are more than capable of overturning the two-goal deficit.
Bolstered by their 3-0 German Cup final win over Werder Bremen on Saturday, last year's beaten Champions League finalists are back to their best.
"We have regained the confidence we lost in Madrid," said Beckenbauer. "Now things are looking quite good for Tuesday. If we can show the same spirit we showed in Berlin, anything is possible against Madrid.'
