WOMEN'S HOCKEY:THERE WERE no surprises in Saturday's Leinster Division One games, the top five all getting the better of their bottom five opponents, scoring 22 goals between them and conceding just one.

Old Alexandra and Hermes stay in fourth and fifth, respectively, Alexandra beating Pembroke Wanderers 4-1 and Hermes having a handsome 6-0 win over bottom club Three Rock; two of their internationals, Lisa Jacob and Audrey O’Flynn, scored two apiece.
