Race-goers travelling from Dublin to the Curragh tomorrow will have a number of travel options to keep them clear of the Tour de France stages on the route.

Those travelling from the north and west of Dublin are advised to take the M50 southbound to the Red Cow roundabout and then on to the Naas Road, which is open all day.

From Dublin south central, access to the Naas Road via the Tallaght by-pass is officially closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. However, it is understood that a flexible attitude will be adopted for local access until 11.30 a.m.

After that time, race-goers will need to get on to the M50 from the northside. The route is through Rathfarnham, Harold's Cross, Christ Church, Phibsboro, and the Navan Road. South east Dublin race-goers can take the above route after 12 midday, when most local street closures will have ended, or alternatively cross the East Link Bridge to reach the M50 on the northside.
