Ulster v Bridgend, Ravenhill (7.30)Ulster's narrow victory away to Ebbw Vale last weekend has kept play-off ambitions alive but they will need to record another success tonight at Ravenhill when they face a tougher Welsh challenge in Bridgend.
The visitors may have conceded seven tries to Leinster on Saturday but they still managed to score four of their own.
Bridgend will not finalise their team until later today but conscious of the fact that they can still make the quarter-finals, should field a strong one. Ulster welcome back David Humphreys at outhalf, with Paddy Wallace, who proved a very able deputy, reverting to full back.
There is one further change behind the scrum with Shane Stewart replacing one of the try scorers from the Ebbw Vale match, Ryan Constable. Up front Gary Longwell is preferred to Mark Blair. Bridgend are plagued by injuries to tight-five players, an area in which they are weak and one that the home side will look to exploit.
Ulster, though, must carry a greater threat behind the scrum to convert into points the quantity of possession that the pack ought to provide. If they overcome a reliance on the boot of Humphreys and score tries, then they should prevail.
