Chelsea V Newcastle
Frank Leboeuf is still in contention for a place in Chelsea's team although he suffered a dead leg against Gillingham on Sunday.
Marcel Desailly is doubtful with a thigh strain, while Jody Morris, who has damaged ankle ligaments but has not broken any bones, and Winston Bogarde (knee) are both definitely out.
Celestine Babayaro is back from international duty with Nigeria, while Sam dalla Bona and Slavisa Jokanovic are available again after suspension.
Newcastle midfielder Rob Lee will have a late fitness test after slightly damaging his groin in training, and striker Kevin Gallacher is out after being laid low by a virus, but Kieron Dyer is fit again after picking up a shin injury. The 22-year-old was suspended for the FA Cup replay defeat at Aston Villa and the trip to Leeds three days later, but he could not have played anyway after picking up the injury.
It was initially thought to be a stress fracture, but it was nothing more than a small cyst and he is ready to play through the pain.
Everton V Middlesbrough
Middlesbrough will guard against an Everton backlash tonight and Terry Venables is aware they will be smarting after their 3-0 FA Cup defeat by Tranmere Rovers.
Venables said: "No doubt Everton will come out with all guns blazing but you have to look at both sides of the coin. We have to make sure that we are well prepared." Middlesbrough are on an unbeaten eight-match run, with six clean sheets, since Venables took over as head coach at the Riverside Stadium.
Venables added: "There is a good spirit in the club and we are approaching a fully fit squad. Confidence is an important factor. Hamilton Ricard will be available after a one-match suspension. I thought Ricard played well against Derby County but Noel Whelan had a fine game when he came in at Liverpool.
"Christian Karembeu and Alen Boksic are linking-up well. I will check on the fitness of Gianluca Festa and Keith O'Neill before the game. Festa has had one or two knocks while O'Neill is recovering from a groin injury.
"This is a tricky match for both teams. Everton need a result and we need a result."
Leeds V Coventry
David O'Leary has to decide whether to include Jonathan Woodgate and Lee Bowyer in his side tonight. The players went on trial at Hull Crown Court on Monday charged with assaulting a student in Leeds city centre last January.
O'Leary has been given clearance by chairman Peter Ridsdale to play the pair for the duration of their court case, which could last for at least six weeks.
But if they were to line up against Coventry the pair would have to be whisked the 60 miles from Hull to Leeds in rush hour, after the court adjourned for the day at approximately 4.0 p.m.
Leeds are already reeling from the loss of rightback Gary Kelly for at least six weeks as he faces another hernia operation, but Lucas Radebe has returned relatively unscathed from international duty and is ready to retake his place in the starting lineup.
O'Leary is also expected to drop midfielder David Batty back to the bench to make way for Frenchman Olivier Dacourt, a non-playing substitute in Saturday's disappointing 2-0 FA Cup defeat to Liverpool.
Coventry have David Thompson back from suspension and Moroccan pair Mustapha Hadji and Youssef Chippo have returned from international duty.
Man City V Liverpool
Andrei Kanchelskis, who arrived at Manchester City this week to begin his three-month loan spell from Rangers, has gone straight into the squad for tonight's game.
Kanchelskis, 32, claims he is fit enough to play for Joe Royle's relegation-threatened side despite his lack of games for Rangers.
Steve Howey and Danny Tiatto return from suspension, but Laurent Charvet, who has an Achilles injury, and Richard Edghill, who has knee trouble, are out.
Paulo Wanchope, who has been transfer-listed for disciplinary reasons, has been dropped from the squad, although Royle may recall him while he waits to find a buyer for the Costa Rican striker.
Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier will be without England hopefuls Danny Murphy and Jamie Carragher - both out with knee problems. Emile Heskey and Steven Gerrard are back from injury, while Jari Litmanen is expected to come back into the side after being rested for the FA Cup win at Leeds.
Robbie Fowler may well be given a break on the substitutes' bench and Christian Ziege should return, as Houllier bids to make sure the excitement of the victory at Elland Road is quickly forgotten.
West Ham V Tottenham
Harry Redknapp will field the same side that beat Manchester United in the FA Cup on Sunday.
West Ham's latest buy, Bulgarian international forward Svetoslav Todorov will be on the bench, alongside Rigobert Song who has returned from international commitments with Cameroon.
With striker Steffen Iversen sidelined until at least the middle of March after a knee injury, Les Ferdinand out for up to three weeks with a hamstring tear and Chris Armstrong still struggling to overcome a groin strain, on-loan striker Andy Booth is set to go straight into the Tottenham side alongside Sergei Rebrov.
The Ukrainian is Tottenham's only fit senior striker and although manager George Graham could revert to using Ireland international Gary Doherty as a striker, he's much keener to keep settling the versatile former Luton player into defence where he has been outstanding in his last five appearances.
With Steve Carr, Mauricio Taricco and Ben Thatcher also still out injured and Scotland goalkeeper Neil Sullivan completing a two-match ban, Graham has a major task on his hands trying to burst West Ham's bubble. Midfielder Tim Sherwood is set to return from suspension.
