Wilson's Hospital advanced to the next round when they withstood the challenge of St Conleth's at The King's Hospital yesterday.
In a low scoring game, Wilson's Hospital got the only score, a converted try from full-back Ivan Poole. St Conleth's failed to make the most of a vigorous opening 15 minutes, missing two kickable penalties.
Then on 18 minutes Wilson's out-half Matthew Ethell fed flanker, Ronan Ginnell who set up a backline movement for Poole to score under the posts. The full-back added the conversion.
