THREE ROCK Rovers have been awarded the Leinster Senior hockey league points for the back match for which Railway Union did not appear at Park Avenue last Wednesday. This has been decided by the Leinster Branch Fixtures Committee, who also fined Railway £200 and banned them from next season's Top Four competition (should they qualify).

Railway are appealing over the matter to the branch management committee, who will meet next Monday. It is possible that the match will still be played. Three Rock, with two games left officially, now lead the table by four points from Avoca, who have three matches left. Railway are in third position, though out of contention for the title.
