Today's meeting at Plumpton was given the go-ahead following an inspection of the course yesterday afternoon.
Clerk of the course David McHarg said: "The track has passed the inspection but it can't take any more rain.
"However, it is fine at the moment and the weather is forecast to be dry until at least tomorrow lunchtime."
However, hopes are fading for tomorrow's jumps meetings at Carlisle and Southwell.
Southwell will inspect before today's all-weather meeting. Clerk of the course Michael Prosser said: "There is water on parts of the course. It is not looking very good.
"We have changed the time of the inspection to before racing, rather than delay a decision until afterwards."
At Carlisle, clerk of the course Johnnie Fenwicke-Clennell said: "We're waterlogged in places and we will have an inspection at 1.00 p.m. tomorrow."
