TnaG (10.30) - World Cup Gold: France v Brazil. The World Cup quarterfinal match from the 1986 finals in Mexico, between a French team that had a goalkeeper called Bats and a Brazilian line-up that had the wonderful Josimar at full-back - or `Josie Maher' as Jimmy Magee used to call him in his commentary.
Eurosport (11.0) - Live Swimming: The World Championships. The eighth World Championships get under way in Perth, Australia - Eurosport has live coverage through the week.
Wednesday
Network Two (7.0) - The Soccer Show. The first edition of the new year of the domestic and Irish international football show.
Sky Sports 2 (7.30) - Live Soc- cer: Newcastle v Liverpool (League Cup quarter-final, kick-off 7.45). No one should take delight in other teams' misfortunes but . .. to those Liverpool supporters who spent ALL of last week chanting "We Love You Coventry, We Do" at any passing Manchester United fan: "Na, na, na, na, na".
