The England wing Dan Luger said yesterday that he was considering a move to the Heineken Cup semi-finalists Perpignan when his contract with Harlequins runs out at the end of the season.
Quins have offered the 28-year-old a new deal but Luger, who moved from Saracens two years ago, said he would not make up his mind until next month. "I have had some discussions with Perpignan and with other clubs but my mind will be focused on playing well for Harlequins for the rest of the season, after which I will make a decision," said Luger.
Another England international who might be on the move is the Bath outhalf Mike Catt, who said yesterday he would consider leaving if the club were relegated from the English Premiership.
London Irish's player-coach Brendan Venter has played his last game for the club after damaging knee ligaments during last Sunday's defeat against Leeds.
