FABIEN PELOUS has been awarded the captaincy of Grand Slam winners, France, in their friendly international with Italy in Grenoble tomorrow.

The 23-year-old Pelous, who appeared in all France's Five Nations triumphs, replaces inspirational - Moroccan-born skipper, Abdelatif Bennzzi, who is resting.
