Silver Patriarch bids for his third Group One win in the nine-runner Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud in Paris tomorrow.

The John Dunlop-trained St Leger and Coronation Cup winner, to be ridden by Pat Eddery, is expected to start favourite for the mile-and-a-half contest.

He reopposes Peter ChappleHyam's Romanov (John Reid) on 5lb better than when he was beaten a neck by that rival in last month's Jockey Club Stakes at Newmarket.
