THE FOUR Dublin players who appealed the suspensions picked up against Meath have had their bans upheld. The GAA's Central Hearings Committee decided Diarmuid Connolly and Bernard Brogan (eight-week bans) and Tomás Quinn and Paddy Andrews (four weeks) would be forced to serve their suspensions.
The players can appeal this decision to the Central Appeals committee. Five of Meath's suspended players will have their appeals heard this week.
