ARNOLD PALMER, who won seven major championships, is expected to leave hospital today after surgery for prostate cancer.

A statement, issued by Mayor Clinic spokesman Mike O'Hara yesterday, said that Palmer's progress has been so good he should be able to leave the clinic today - far earlier than had been expected.
