Larry Murphy (Wexford centre forward): Nothing fancy here, he just does his job and stops you scoring

Larry Murphy (Wexford centre forward): Nothing fancy here, he just does his job and stops you scoring. I only managed one against him and his strength is such that you wouldn't know he's there until you hit him. Not a play maker or the fastest hurler but centre back is such a natural position for him that his record is now second to none and makes him an essential member of the team.

Fergus Touhy (Clare centre forward): Unassuming but very effective player and his big strength is his ability to concentrate on his own game. Held position very well in the Thurles game and that worked out great for him. The selectors have great faith in him and he's proved vital to the squad. The captaincy shouldn't effect him because he's so diligent in his approach and even if he is a bit quiet on the field expect him to make a big impact.
