Has Joe Murphy played his final game for Tranmere? Well, TeamTalk have come up with what they claim is proof positive that the young Irish goalkeeper is all set for a big Premiership move (probably to Liverpool). John Achterberg, the man who's played second fiddle to Murphy for most of the season, has just signed a new three-year-deal with the club, announcing that he wouldn't have stayed unless he'd been given guarantees that he'll be first choice next season. Say no more.
Meanwhile, Leeds have told AC Milan that Harry Kewell isn't for sale at any price, and then promptly slapped a £20 million tag on his head. We didn't understand that either. If he leaves then Celtic's Mark Viduka might fill his boots, unless he joins AC Milan, Paris St Germain, Monaco, Spurs, Roma or Bayern Munich, all of whom his agent has had alleged words with in recent weeks. By all accounts Rangers were after Viduka earlier in the season but his advisers mentioned two words to him - Mo and Johnston - and that ended that.
